A Lunar Orbiter 4 launch cover from "SpaceCraft Swanson", postmarked at Cape Canaveral with a machine cancel on May 4, 1967.

Lunar Orbiter 4, unlike its predecessors, went into near polar orbit and sent back its first picture of the south polar region of the moon on 11 May 1967. It took images from orbit for eight months before it was crashed to the lunar surface.
