1967-07-14 USA Surveyor 4

A Surveyor 4 launch cover from "SpaceCraft Swanson", postmarked at Cape Canaveral with a machine cancel on July 14, 1967, signed by Howard B. Haglund, the Deputy Project Manager for Hughes Aircraft Co. Operation.

Surveyor 4 was launched on 14 July 1967. A few minutes before Surveyor 4 was to touch down on the moon in Sinus Medii, all communications were lost.
