| On May 29, 1963, Titan II Missile N-20 was launched from LC-16, equipped with a new set of pogo-suppressing devices. Unfortunately, shortly after liftoff, a fire erupted in the thrust section, resulting in a loss of control during ascent. As a result, no valuable pogo data was collected due to the flight's early termination. |
