1962-09-12 USA Test Flight 5 of Titan II

Titan II Missile N-5 launched on September 12, 1962 was successful, but the pogo oscillation (the nickname NASA engineers invented for the Titan's vibration problem since it was thought to resemble the action of a pogo stick) remained and the booster could not be considered man-rated until it was fixed.
